Third and Fourth grade students will be able to:
 | Independently log on to the system with a user names and password |
| Independently log off, shut down or restart the system as directed |
| Introduction to basic keyboarding |
| Use proper computer/Internet etiquette at all times |
| Name major parts of the computer hardware, peripherals, and software and give a simple explanation of each |
| Use digital camera, scanner and printer with assistance |
| Perform simple keyboarding activities using both the letter and number pads |
| Open two applications at one time and toggle between the applications |
| Use the Internet to search for information with minimal assistance |
| Copy/paste and edit text and pictures between applications and within documents |
| Save work to a disk or to the server |
| Find and open saved work |
| Use software to create multimedia projects |
