Fifth and Sixth Grade students will be able to:
- Log on and off of the system independently
- Change password
- Know names and functions of all major hardware items, peripherals,
software and storage devices
- Perform simple scanning processes without assistance
- Perform simple digital camera functions without assistance
- Use keyboarding software to perform more complex keyboarding functions
with speed and accuracy using correct posture and form
- Install new software with help
- Create multimedia projects using various software
- Use the Internet to search for information, games, or ideas that will be
applied in projects
- Save finished projects to the server, disk or CD
- Begin assembling an electronic portfolio of student work
- Create simple web pages using an online HTML tutorial
